Well, the vacation is rapidly approaching. I admit, I am starting to get a little bit excited. Here’s a photo from my last cruise…
I’ve been on a ton of cruises in the past, but never without my favorite cousin, Jerilyn. We’ve sailed with family, we’ve sailed with friends, and we’ve sailed just the two of us. Jerilyn isn’t going along this time, and I miss her already.

I’m just coming up for air. We’re crazy busy in the office, and of course with summer comes a ton of outside work calling my name as well. My car looks like someone lives in it (a very messy someone who doesn’t know how to even toss fast food sacks out) and the sidewalks still haven’t been swept after the yard finally got mowed between rainy days. More coming soon…don’t lose hope…

Something happened today that I can’t stop thinking about. The issue was personal and not something I can discuss publicly — even though I would like nothing better than to rant away about how much it pissed me off and hurt my feelings. Sometimes people you think at least have integrity, stoop to some pretty low places when money comes into play.

Who would’ve thought I’d be complaining about being cold when it’s 65 degrees outside. How easy it is to forget winter when you can see this by simply peeking out the window in front of you.
And as I’m working this crisper than yesterday (and hopefully tomorrow) day, I’m also trying out an alternative to TweetDeck. Seesmic doesn’t have the cool dark gray interface, but it allows me to post and read tweets and FaceBook status updates all in one place. So far I’m diggin’ it.
