Ok, I admit it! I’m a slacker. I haven’t posted anything here lately. I’ve simply been too busy with other things. Last week was busy insofar as work — and after taking that promised extra time so that I don’t miss ‘the good stuff’, there wasn’t any left to just relax and type. The pool is open and that’s a big ole’ yay! Still, it takes work and attention to keep it looking as inviting as it does today. After sleeping in this morning (which was wonderful), I planted my carcass on a raft in the middle of it for a few hours.
I want to share with you a pretty darned cool site that I ran across. I think it’s totally awesome for two reasons:
- it contains interesting information and newsy items — brain food
- I love photos and this site sure does have ’em
Lemme tell ya — the photos on this site aren’t your average, run-of-the-mill pics like on most websites. They are flipping huge – colossally big — wake you up sized photos that jump off the page! The site is titled, ‘The Big Picture.’ (Go figure.)
What are you waiting for? Click this link already! (Might I suggest you bookmark it for later?) Don’t forget when you find a essay that you find most interesting to click on where it says, “more images.”
If you especially enjoy looking at photos, and are following my advice from an earlier post about feeding your brain, then this site is for you. If you don’t care about that stuff but are interested in Indiana and the flood waters that have damaged so much of our area — at least check out these photos.
