Close your eyes…

…and make a wish.

Libby didn’t share her wish with me, but I’m thinking maybe she’s closed her eyes and wished that maple sausage will be fixed for breakfast — or that the neighbor’s cat will fall down as it’s running back home. Or maybe she wished that she could live where the days are always warm, and bunnies always dart from the field close to where she lies in wait…

When the mowing gets tough…

…the tough get mowing!

Just like the old sitcom with Bob Newhart, Perry called upon his brother Daryl and his other brother Daryl to get the job done. 🙂

It seems like you can feel the change from summer to fall in the burg right now. The evenings and mornings are pretty darned cool — and by afternoon, the temps have slipped all the way into the low 90’s. Perry, Daryl and Daryl will get a break from mowing soon… I wonder if they shovel snow…

Where is everyone?

I’ve noticed that lately I’ve had less time to BLOG — and all those wonderful BLOGS that I have bookmarked aren’t showing much activity either. Wonder what is up with that, and how long before my favorite posters are back to talking to me (and the world) every day.

What’s your attitude?

What does it take for you to say you’ve had a good day? Is a good day for you simply getting through those hours between the time your alarm goes off until the time you crawl into bed? Do you call it a good day when you simply have a minimal number of disruptions and you are able to process the same old stuff you processed the day before?

It takes more than that for me!

Attitudes are contagious! So why would you not choose to be around those who genuinely want you to succeed and encourage you to do so — and reduce your exposure to those who are constantly negative? Try making a point to do more of what you enjoy during your free time, so you’ll bring the attitude that makes others want to be around you!

Libby has figured this out already — she wags her tail every single time I look at her, is never grumpy and even likes the same kind of music I enjoy…
