I shouldn’t cry over a commercial no matter how painful the images of neglect and abuse to pets are presented. I’m supposed to be tough! Yet the combination of Sarah McLachlan’s “In the Arms of an Angel” song, combined with the images of shaking and/or blinded dogs simply tears me all to pieces.
Every single time I don’t watch (heh) this commercial, I get mushy inside. So mushy that I could send them all my money (I hope no one from ASPCA is reading this!!). So I’m posting it here in hopes you feel the same and send them all of YOUR money, so I don’t have to. 🙂
Spend all your time waiting
For that second chance
For a break that would make it okay
There’s always some reason
To feel not good enough
And it’s hard at the end of the day
I need some distraction
Oh, beautiful release
Memories seep from my veins
Let me be empty
And weightless and maybe
I’ll find some peace tonight

On the other hand, I think about what will happen should the government NOT bail them out. Like how it will affect my selfish bad self.
I think of the ‘what if’s’. What if my son loses his job and moves he and his wife (cat and bird) in with me? I would of course allow it, but I can promise that I would hate it as much as they would hate doing it. And what about those less fortunate? Scary, scary stuff…
Internet connectivity problems here and tech support is on the way — this has got to be short and sweet…
Just for fun, Perry and I have started a simplistic photo BLOG. Just a daily photo taken by each of us every day from our own perspective. If you’re not into photography — our new BLOG is not for you. If you like to view photos of nothing much at all, then check it out.
We have definite seasons in the burg. Unlike some states (or countries) where one day pretty much blends into the next, and the temperatures vary slightly from January to July — we can tell the difference in a big way. I like the change of seasons — I simply don’t like all of the seasons that we have. My least favorite time of year is rapidly approaching…
