Happy Friday everyone!
May you find excitement in all the things you do this weekend.
I’ve always heard that dogs eat grass for one of two reasons. (a) They are missing something in their diet, or (b) they have an upset stomach and grass makes them vomit. Both of my hounds are grazers, but neither one of them throw up, so I deduce they are missing some powerful vitamin. I do a Google search to figure out what they need more of in their diet because Google knows everything.
I’m always amazed at some of the stuff people type in search boxes — the top search strings are of course pre-filled in by Google for you. How awesome that my dogs are only eating grass. Yikes!
So I find out that both of the reasons I thought were true aren’t necessarily factual. Some dogs eat grass because they like it. My dogs don’t eat underwear, dirt, rocks cat poop or their puppies. They can; however, be encouraged to eat some things right off the grill, so long as we don’t say ‘hotdog‘ out loud.

I have 3 things to share. Call me sociable today. Be nice for a change.

The reason I have time to provide today’s finds are explained in the photo above. The main reason I posted it though is because the walls in this room were painted with a technique you may or may not have heard of. There is NO filter on this photo — those really are the walls. I personally think they’re pretty cool, especially when the room was painted using Wal-mart bags.
I’m no fan of Wal-mart, (I’d rather take a stick in the eye than shop there), but those cheap plastic bags are like the best for painting. I rolled on the first coat of taupe, then wadded up Wal-mart bags (one in each hand), dipped them in paint just a tad darker and slap-jabbed the walls all over the place in no random pattern or fashion. I stood back to admire my progress and was feeling oh-so brave, so I started dipping my Wal-mart bags into some gold-flecked paint I used for something a loooong time ago and splatted some of that around too. The gold was a tad bold, but I remembered I had paint left that was used in the bathroom, and so I smooshed that on too. The final highlights I did for the top coat was left-over white ceiling paint. Try it kids — fun stuff.
Next, The Crothersville Times had a cool article this week, “A Dozen Questions You May Have Never Considered“. Heck, I don’t think I answered 1/2 of them right. Give it a try!
I shared this on Facebook today, but wanted to put the link here too. It’s pretty important you read Mashable’s 5 Essential Facebook Privacy Tips. Don’t just read them — actually do them. I share this because you’re my friends (with a few exceptions of course — you know who you are *people’s eyebrow*).
There are times when I work extremely late at night. Sometimes it’s because I obsess with things I want to complete — other times, it’s because my actions will make a website unavailable for a period of time, and I simply don’t want my corporate clients to experience any downtime during normal business hours. I stumbled off to bed at 3:15 AM Saturday morning thinking I could sleep in.
But no! My cell phone rang at 6:30 AM. Not an emergency, a question. One that could’ve been avoided had this person simply checked and responded to an email I sent the day before. That’s the kind of thing that makes me totally crazy…and extremely sleepy.
Working all weekend + rain + rain = me worthless
