The images shared in my last two posts were photos taken in a moving car, traveling along a patch of Indiana highway at about 55mph. ::cough:: Today’s images were captured in the same manner. Of course I enjoy planned photos where the composition is thoughtful and strategic — but I also enjoy ones that are simply memory glimpses of someplace traveled or something seen.
When you’re taking shots from the inside looking out, traveling on some over-the-river-and-through-the-woods winding road, of course you don’t have time to plan for depth of field/what’s in focus and what’s not kind of shots. Still, I challenge you to risk looking like an idiot! Stick your camera up and start snapping photos of everything you find interesting. Even if you’re near your own backyard. It’s one of the fabulous things about digital photography — you can trash all the out-of-focus shots — like the one of the tree that suddenly appeared in the middle of your photograph — without the expense of processing.
