When I got up this morning I saw a pretty big limb had blown into the yard from the maple tree out front. Once I had a cup of coffee behind me, I grabbed the camera and mentioned that I was going to take a photo of it for the pesky neighbors to see since they are most likely basking in the sun today. But no! Perry had already cleaned up the mess when I wasn’t looking, so I missed the photo opportunity.
But he missed the limb in the pear tree in the backyard that lost a limb last night…
This tree in particular isn’t a favorite of Mother Nature. Obviously. The old girl has a huge chomp out of one side that a spring storm took on its way through last year. Last night’s wind didn’t even phase her — she’s been through worse.
