I’m back in Indiana and it’s cold, COLD in the Ville. Before leaving for our return flight, Perry and I decided to take a few photos. Without a tripod we were limited on our choice of locations. Very limited — as in one place where we could put the camera on a plastic chair. Of course, that left one of us to click the timer and run to get in front of the lens while the camera beeped impatiently. I’ll let you guess who was the runner.
I’m sure you’ve tried this yourself at some point, and I sure hope you had better results. But more importantly, I hope you had FUN doing it. You know, even though I can see a bajillion things wrong with every photo captured that day, they are still among my favorites. Yes, these images have sunlight shining through leaves producing lovely dark face splotches and blow-out bald spots, but I don’t care.
(UPDATE: PERRY SAYS IN THE PHOTO ABOVE HE HAS RABBIT TEETH AND I HAVE A BRAIN TUMOR CAUSING A HUGE LUMP ON MY HEAD. Also said he would pay $5 if I would delete it from here. I’m holding out for $10.)
It sure is good to be home. 🙂
