I am probably really close to being addicted to candles. I love them. I buy them for gifts; and I buy them for me. So I was pretty excited when I found REWINED!
Cool name, yah? The containers that hold the soy candles are repurposed wine bottles which is also incredibly cool! Each candle is dated and has the initials of the producer. Very distinct. The scents? I chose to order Cabernet and Merlot. I’m really loving the whole thing… until they arrive.
I’m sure that there are some people who simply love the scents, but I’m not one of those people. The merlot smells like patchouli — and that is gag inducing for me. The Cabernet is a bit better, but not by much really. I haven’t lit either candle because just having them on my desk is about to give me a headache.
Distinct packaging is great — but what’s inside is what really counts. What’s inside is why you choose to purchase that item again. And again. Packaging may get your attention and influence you to purchase the item once, but it sure won’t keep you coming back.
