I snapped a quick photo of Perry as he was pulling the car into the garage. Upon closer inspection, I saw Opal!
If you look really close near the upper left side of the photo under the shrub, you’ll see our resident bunny, Opal. She has babies in a flower near the front door of the house — same place she raises her kits every year.
Just seeing Perry behind the wheel was enough for her to abandon her responsibilities and run for her life to the safety of the neighbor’s property. Perry is oblivious to the terror his driving skills strike in humans and wildlife alike. So don’t tell him.
