This week must be Shelley’s week for a practice in patience and how to deal with inconveniences. It’s only Tuesday and so far:
- The flooring installer is going to be a day late.
- The flooring installer is going to do two rooms the same day instead of over two days. This translates to additional work — all the stuff from room #1 is currently in room #2 and will need to be moved TONIGHT (and it’s already almost 11:00 PM ET).
- My dentist called and moved my appointment from Wednesday morning to Thursday afternoon (when I already had other things scheduled).
None of these things are a big deal — but are certainly inconveniences. Nothing to get frustrated over… just a practice in rolling with the flow.
It’s sort of like buying groceries in a Mini — just a mini inconvenience. 🙂
