Living room flooring project complete! This room has come a long way from when I purchased this house…
It’s the only room that didn’t get new flooring before we moved in — we didn’t even paint the walls. I wasn’t in love with the carpet from the onset, but my dwindling remodeling budget liked it a LOT.
Sadly, 6-month old Dharma liked it a whole lot too. So much so that she chewed a big ole hole in it down to the subfloor. I covered it up for about 2 years with a rug and no one knew but me… and Dharma… and anyone that about broke an ankle stepping in the wrong spot. 🙂
That nasty, 30+ year old carpet is outta here!
