This is the moment to not be going to the grocery store, not going to the pharmacy, but doing everything you can to keep your family and your friends safe.”
I’m doing my very best, Deborah!
Not gonna’ lie… I’m jealous of those who have someone to be quarantined with… other than dogs. It’s lonely and pretty darned boring. I’m so grateful that I am not an essential employee working in healthcare or retail. But on this day #31 of just me and two hounds, I crave human interaction.
My people time is limited to Perry’s days off, and Facetime with Mom’s ceiling:
I haven’t started my ‘one extra thing’ yet for today but I already have it planned. I’m going to TRY to move the bed in Colette’s room, one of the few with carpet, and shampoo under there.
To keep busy, I’ve ran the steam mop so often the wood flooring is likely waterlogged. Steam mops are so scary that Merida (the baby of the family) runs under the bed and pees. Now that I’ve figured it out, I shut the door before turning it on — but Resolve doesn’t feel as “clean.”
Babies sure are a lot of work… even the 4-legged kind. But they sure are cute!
