Our local Gyro King opened just before the pandemic. I’d seen others talk about eating there on FB — and about how the poor dude is struggling and is so gracious and appreciative. I’m not sure if it was delicious because it was a great gyro, or because I haven’t had anything other than my own cooking for over a month. This is day #43.
Today was grocery day! I order for 3 families and sweet talk Perry into picking it up every single time. All the goodies have been sorted and picked up from here now too. Love seeing Mom — but we’re still keeping our distance and probably will for quite some time.
I thought it was bad when Walmart substituted 13 gallon trash bags for 33 gallon ones (that would be like me ordering a size 10 and the retailer thinking I could use a size 18!) — but today was a close runner up.
Not sure how my oatmeal raisin cookies are going to turn out when I use all those packets of strawberries and cream instead of regular ole’ oatmeal. Sheesh!
