Late this morning, I mowed the yard and wielded the weed wacker at a frenzied pace with dark clouds looming overhead. Soon as I finished, the sun peeked from behind the clouds and the forecast predicted (that was a 76% chance for rain/storms) had vanished.
Home alone last night and right before bed, I’d let Merida out for the last time. Walking to the door to let her inside I heard a horrible racket coming from the patio room. Not gonna lie… I was startled at first and maybe a wee bit scared.
But it was just her… trying to get a stick inside that was at least 8′ long. Since she couldn’t figure out how to make it fit through the door, she refused to come in. I spent 30 solid minutes yelling in a whispered tone as not to wake the neighbors. This dog… this dog… is killing me. 🙂

So what about the Russian hack on UK, US and Canadian research labs? And what about the Governor of Georgia suspending all mask mandates? And how about the dude with COVID-19 that awoke from a coma paralyzed? And did you see that Arizona and Texas are bringing in refrigerated trucks as morgues fill up?
Holy cow, you guys! At least the CDC data that disappeared has now reappeared. And that’s all the good news I’ve got. Period.
For me… I’m going to keep wearing my mask when I go out — and continue to stay home as much as possible.

There are now 11 states in the “red” risk level zone (stay at home orders necessary as per researchers/experts) and NO states are left in the “green” risk level zone (on track for containment as per researchers/experts).
TIL (today I learned): Everyone in Singapore above the age of 21 is automatically registered as an organ donor. If you opt out and find at some point you need a transplant, you are put at the very bottom of the organ priority list. Read about the Human Organ Transplant Act here…
