In the event that you ever need to prove that you said something — or did something — a photo or audio/video recording is pretty good evidence. Insofar as any future claims regarding this home’s manly duties, I felt the need to document my latest activity.
Yes, that’s me. I’m the manly man.
I’ve been thinking about how much I LOVE snow — and wonder now if it’s because I never had to shovel it before.
I learned:
- Snow that’s been walked on is more packed and harder to shovel.
- You can still get hot working outside when it’s cold.
- Shoveling snow makes your arms feel like jello.
- It’s more difficult to clear a sidewalk of snow if the handle of your shovel is loose.
The sidewalk is now passable but far from being clear. My mind actually drifted while working… wondering if I could be sued for a slip and fall by my grocery delivery person. I certainly don’t want anyone to get hurt — but I’m DONE. It’s good enough!!
Rain is coming tomorrow. Still, I have the proof… the undisputed evidence… the undeniable confirmation… that it was ME that shoveled snow in 2021.
