Getting older changes pretty much everything, doesn’t it? It changes the way you think about the future, how you spend your money, what you think is fun, and of course… age changes your body.
I’m grateful to be pretty darned healthy. Yah, I had back surgery but there’s a lot of people a lot younger than me that have had that done too. I may get stiff when I sit in front of my computer too long, but that makes sense, right? The thing is…
…everyone needs a couple decent knees.
There’s nothing like a relative and classmate needing a knee replacement to remind you that you’re officially old. 🙂
She told me that she spent more time on her knees than I have in my lifetime. Heh. I snickered and then agreed with her. 🙂
If only a foot replacement was a viable option.
Mom is struggling with plantar fasciitis. Is she complaining because she can’t so much as walk to the bathroom? Of course not! She’s upset that now she’s not going to get her “big award” from her Apple watch for consistent activity. If it wasn’t already too late (she’s missed the mark on more than one day now), I’d have worn that watch while she slept.
Or had Dharma wear it instead.
TIL (Today I Learned): Only white cars are allowed in Boracay Island, Philippines. It is a municipal ordinance that was signed in 2001.
