I was planning to trim the last 3 hedges yesterday, I promise. I probably could’ve gotten them done if I would’ve started early. But hey… it’s weekend, so I procrastinated.
And then it was too late!
It thundered and poured for several hours. Knowing Mr. Pesky had recently planted tomatoes (that I LOVE), I called to ask if Mother Nature had watered them for me. Nope! They had ZERO rain. Seriously… less than 15-miles from here and they didn’t get a drop while my street was flooded. Crazy!
Forecast says the hedges get to rule another day.
I could probably get those last hedges done today, but rain is in the forecast and I don’t want to risk electrocution. Especially since Perry got one of the longest cords caught in the trimmer. It’s pretty damaged, and I’m 100% sure I can’t find any other cords.
On the mend.
Ms. Pesky is feeling so much better. If it really was cellulitis, the antibiotic subscribed is doing the trick. Yippee! She got a bit loud and grumpy with me on the phone so I know she’s on the mend. If she’s gets any more out of control, I’m going to pull an Amber Heard and get a temporary restraining order. 😉
TIL (Today I Learned): In medieval times, surgery was considered too menial a task for physicians to perform; it was instead delegated to barbers.
Since I had extra time, I learned something else!
TIL #2: Humans have no sense for wetness, only temperature and pressure
