Those are the words Johnny Depp used in his Instagram post after the verdict was read in his defamation case against Amber Heard.

“GIRL. STOP. Don’t try to drag the rest of us women into this. This isn’t an attack on women. You’re a liar, plain and simple. This is a YOU issue, not a women’s issue.”
The mainstream media still isn’t buying it.
Check out this MSNBC article. The author is less interest in whether AH is a liar (in other words… less interested that a man is falsely accused) and more interested in why so many people are invested in the idea she might be.
Let me tell you why, Liz Plank, of MSNBC. It’s because “so many people” are sick and tired of being fed BS and expected to believe it because the “NEWS” reported it. That’s why “so many people” are no longer listening to and buying into mainstream media agendas. One thing I noticed today — only one youtube.com streamer… an attorney covering the verdict… had over 300K viewers for the verdict while at the same exact time, CourtTV’s stream had around 25K.

Click to read the breakdown on NPR for yourself. It appears to me the jury simply didn’t believe Amber Heard. Maybe because some of her own witnesses even contradicted her claims — and all of Depp’s witnesses (even police officers) did too. Or maybe because she exaggerated and embellished her stories and they simply didn’t match the evidence. The jury sided with Heard on #2 of her counterclaim. Basically, they didn’t believe Depp’s attorney, Waldman’s comment that she and her friends tried to “hoax” the police. I agree.
What’s the same and what’s next?

- The ACLU still has Amber Heard as an ambassador for women’s rights with a focus on gender-based violence.
- Look for lots more to come out about this over the coming days — the mainstream media will do mainstream media stuff and social media will do social media stuff.
- EW reports that Amber Heard — you know, the one who only wants Johnny to leave her alone and let her go on with her life — is appealing the verdict. 🙄
- There’s still what comes next insofar as how/if Depp will be paid, as well as any injunction that may be made against Heard to stop her from continuing the statements.
Enough for now and I’m not going to call is celebrating… but…
