It’s hard to believe just two days ago I was sitting in this same chair… feeling sweat trickle down my forehead… thinking I might die of heat exhaustion — and today, thinking I might need a sweatshirt.
We needed rain.
We badly needed the rain. I walked in the backyard before the first rain from yesterday and it was crunchy. Today, we’re alternating between a nice soaking rain and storms. Pretty sure this weather is going to hang around for at least the rest of today.
I had a visitor.
We’ve had so much rain that even toads are looking for dryer ground. I named her Marge and she was ushered back outside before the hounds noticed. Close call, Marge! 🙂
