You ever go to bed early thinking you could use those extra zzzz’s only to wake up before your typical bedtime? That would be me tonight… or today. Sitting down at the computer, I see this from The Weather Channel:
Is this a dream?
If so, I already had one of those and it’s partly the reason I’m up. How can you have sleet at 52 degrees? It’s wet stuff falling from the sky… I’ll agree to that. It’s not much different now than it was yesterday late afternoon.
There are probably 100 reasons why I’m awake besides that crazy dream where my son decides work makes him anxious and he’s going to move in with me. 😬 The primary one is because it’s freaking HOT in there. It’s so hot the dogs were already up and waiting on me in a cooler room. You know, the cooler room that’s temping out at 75 degrees. 🥵
I love the barndo… I do! But I’m going to have to drop some cash to do something different with the heating and air situation. Maybe I’m just spoiled — ok, I’m spoiled, alright? I want my bedroom cool and the rest of the house warm. I hate that I can’t shut off a vent and close the door to regulate that.
In the meantime, I’m guessing I’ll be napping long before midnight when 2022 is ushered out and 2023 arrives. Since this must still be a dream, I think I’ll just go ahead and celebrate like it’s New Year’s Day already! Who’s with me?
