Flood warnings and more rain for the Ville today. I figure having an ark on standby would be a proactive plan. Considering what I do for a living, I’m sure I could modify my approach and get Noah under contract. 🙄
Because the wind is blowing the rain against the windows, my view today is about as lackluster as it gets…
I’ll be spending the day inside.
Since the day is dark and dreary — and because I have Coco this weekend — I made some comfort food that goes with anything and is just as good heated up later as when you first make it. There are so many options to serve with mashed potatoes.
Not diet friendly for sure since I make mine with heavy cream and real butter. As a healthier choice, I also have the ingredients for  Khao Phat Gai and Pad Thai. I’m not sure which one I’ll make tomorrow.
Big breakfasts are always requested on weekends, and with my crew you can’t go wrong with pasta or rice. Perry’s on the same page as I am when it comes to food… we’d rather have steak, burgers or pizza.
