Both electric companies where I have accounts sent out emails this morning. Both emails said power outages are likely. More flipping wind… what’s up with the weather? Also incoming are storms that have the potential to spin up tornados across the area. Right now, it’s just cloudy and raining.
Weather changes remodel plans too.
Mr. Contractor was planning to get more T1-11 today but has to drive to Louisville to pick it up. Because it’s a LOT of big sheets, he has to have his flatbed for transport — and again, it’s raining. No work here until Monday or Tuesday (depending upon the intent to start back in the afternoon after picking up materials). Of course, that’s if the rain stops.
The outside wall of the barndo has been framed and is ready and waiting to be covered up.
This room is bigger than it looks in photos (30′ x 24′). Take away 720 square foot of living space from your home and think about how it would alter your lifestyle. I can’t express how happy I’ll be when this is done! There’s not one comfy chair or couch downstairs that isn’t covered in plastic, so I’m spending my time either at the computer or in the bedroom… but it’s only temporary!
