This past weekend consisted of a lot of repeat things we enjoy, and something new.
The deck and pool.
First, as I predicted, the deck isn’t finished yet. Tim says tomorrow… again, it’s tomorrow. 🙂 Pool Man Perry swept the leaves from the bottom left from the wind and rain last week — just in time for the predicted rain tomorrow.
Not having that deck didn’t deter Katie and Charlie from coming out to eat s’mores. Not much gets between Katie and her favorite dessert.
Member Brad the hummingbird?
Brad’s not been here yet this year, but his snarky girlfriend made it in. Brad would NEVER give me the stink eye like she did. If she keeps coming around, she’s going to need a name.
Tacos are awesome! Los tacos son geniales!
We finally made it to the town’s taco truck that serves authentic Mexican food. It’s my new favorite spot! Check out the tacos on corn shells — chicken, steak, and chorizo. (Not pictured are the strawberry churros or the fried ice cream we consumed.)
Today I Learned: The German word for “birth control pill” is “antibabypillen.”
