Yesterday marks my first snake battle of the spring/summer season and I’m pretty sure it was a tie.
Mowing and weedeating isn’t so bad. I’d rather do yardwork than housework any day of the week. But outside jobs have the potential of being a bit more hazardous at times, and that was the case as I wielded my trusty weed whacker in the ditch yesterday. Not sure why the medium-sized black snake didn’t hear me coming, but I got him. I mean… I REALLY screwed up his day.
When the string that was going a bajillion mph hit him, he flipped up in the air, hit my legs, and landed on my feet. He slithered away and I didn’t have a heart attack. It was a win/win! Not sure how badly he was injured, but still moving is a good sign.
All finished and waiting on S&L to show up this morning to fix this darned mini split in the family room/office. Of course, it’s the room where we spend most of our time that decides to take a shit. On the upside… the bedroom one is working just fine.
Now you know: In 2022, a dispute between Pantone and Adobe resulted in the removal of Pantone color coordinates from Photoshop and Adobe’s other design software, causing colors in graphic artists’ digital documents to be replaced with black unless artists paid Pantone a separate $15 monthly subscription fee.
