Determining the way you face when you sleep doesn’t mean which way your eyes face when you roll from one side to the other. It’s determined by the spot where your head is in the bed and which direction it is closest to. After reading a pretty ridiculous article, I was still happy to find my head is facing toward the south — this way…

Indian tradition strongly discourages sleeping with your head to the north. Hindu tradition associates the north with death, believing the soul exits the body in that direction. Others claim energies originating from the south (the direction where you place your head) not only are believed to aid in sleep, but also bring fame and prosperity.
A study in 2019 found that people who slept with their heads in the south and feet in the north experienced significant changes in delta, theta, and alpha brain frequencies, and in turn, had better sleep compared to individuals who slept in an east-west direction — all because of the earth’s magnetic pull.
What’s up with all the repelling magnetic pole claims?
You’ve probably seen the ads saturating the Internet with Jennifer Aniston for the Vayro ring — a simple band with magnets that claims it will deliver weight loss, better sleep, and even more health boosts too numerous to mention. The same basic thing applies to studies and theories about your time in bed, citing the human body has a magnetic field, with the head acting as the north pole and magnetic repulsion is believed to cause disturbed sleep, restlessness, elevated blood pressure, and headaches.
It all sounds like mumbo jumbo to me, but Merida believes.

But it means most women have all the control!
Because women typically arrange household furnishings, they have control over the sleep of their partners. It’s almost like having a voodoo doll, you guys! Just put your bed facing east/west, sleep somewhere else, and voila! Your partner will experience headaches, bad sleep, and will be plagued with all sort of negative health problems. 😉
Now you know: In 2014, passengers were warned three times not to eat nuts on a Ryanair flight due to a 4-year-old girl’s severe nut allergy, but a passenger sitting four rows away from the girl ate nuts anyway. The girl went into anaphylactic shock, and the passenger was banned from the airline for two years.
