Living in rural Indiana means accepting a few things: muddy paw prints, bugs, wildlife—and apparently, spiders who consider my windows prime real estate.

I knock down the webs. They build new ones.
I knock them down again. They rebuild.
At this point, I’m pretty sure they’re not even waiting for me to finish. They’re just watching from somewhere nearby, thinking, “She’ll be back. Give her five minutes.”
I don’t mind spiders doing their thing outside.
But I would appreciate it if they could find a location that doesn’t require me to repeatedly sweep their architectural masterpieces off my windows.
I’m not winning this battle — my spiders have a very impressive work ethic. Unfortunately, it’s being applied directly to the barndo.
