ai images may scar high school seniors for life

Oct 19, 2025

I heard someone say that AI is like the Ozempic of the business world. It’s the “take a pill or shot” in problem solving. Thing is, just like Ozempic, there are those precautionary warnings that go along with it. I’m going to share one of them with you today.

Sometimes, AI is shit.

For all the 17 and 18 year-olds in their last year of high school with access to AI at their fingertips, they might get curious about what they’ll look like in the future. They might upload their senior photo and ask ChatGPT to make them a senior… like 65 years old or so.

Once the photo is rendered via AI, they won’t be able to unsee it.

senior me and AI senior me

If I’d have seen that photo of old lady senior me while still high school senior me, it would’ve likely scarred me for life. Those droopy jowls are the only thing that resembles current me… at least that’s what I think anyway. Sure, I’ve got loads of wrinkles, but my nose didn’t flare out just because I got old.

If you’re brave, and not a high school senior, try it for yourself.

Head on over to https://chatgpt.com/ and upload a photo. Next, type in these words, “Make this person X number of years older.” (Replace the “X” with the number of years between how old you were in the photo you uploaded and how old you are now.) See if it resembles the way you currently look. Don’t expect perfection though, you guys — because sometimes, AI is shit.

Now you know: James Buchanan was the only U.S. President to remain a lifelong bachelor.
