Do you ever run across something you really like while scrolling on the Internet and save the photo even though you know you can never have it?
ME TOO!

I love about everything in the photo above. But… the only things I could possibly replicate is the candle on the bar and adding a cutting board to decorate my existing countertops. No fireplace, and no fancy cabinets to paint that taupe color — and the chance that I’ll ever have granite countertops in a pole barn is right at 0%.
Still… I pull photos like that and store them in an app to access later. And then, I never do.
Crazy thing is… I’m happy where I am and with what I’ve got!

I have no desire to move… or even get new kitchen cabinets. A gas stove may be a future purchase, but it won’t be a beautiful brick fireplace. I do plan to get my weed sprayer and fill it with floor dye to touch up the concrete — and I don’t have one saved photo of that in my trusty app.
I figure it’s ok to admire stuff you like even if it’s not a good fit for your lifestyle. I mean… that candle lit on an audubon in the saved photo above would be a fire in 5 seconds after being hit with Merida’s tail of death. That doesn’t mean I can’t like it. 🙂
Now you know: In 1986 Ronald Reagan signed a bill granting amnesty to nearly 3 million undocumented residents, anyone who entered the country before 1982 qualified.
