Lindsay Clancy trial: You have hundreds showing up at the courthouse in support of the woman that killed her 3 children, Lindsay Clancy. Some online commenters say Lindsay didn’t get proper healthcare and shouldn’t be held accountable — she had a complete break from reality that left her without options. Others say she planned and committed the murder of her children, and the killings reflected a conscious, selfish choice.
If you believe social media posts, men are backing out of engagements when their partners give Lindsay a pass — and women are warning other women that men who support a Murder 1 verdict are controlling assholes.
It’s so crazy that Hugo is confused!

When people say… if the jury doesn’t find Clancy guilty of murder, humanity in general has gone off the rails, I don’t agree.
What it could instead mean is that the prosecution didn’t prove their case. It could be because Lindsay’s attorney is masterful while the 2 women prosecutors are snarky and abrasive. It could be that the expert witnesses for the prosecution weren’t effective or prepared enough in advance of testimony. It could be that the 2 experts from yesterday each provided a different diagnosis.
I still think it will end with a hung jury. 🙁
Apple’s June 2026 ad: This latest ad by a company I’ve supported for years concerns me more.

In advertising terms, it’s clever visual storytelling. The “devils” represent trackers, and the chrome-clad figures represent Chrome/data tracking. They are positioned the same.
Apple isn’t some obscure edgy clothing company. It has spent decades cultivating a very particular image: clean, elegant, sophisticated, minimalist, aspirational. Suddenly putting horned demonic figures directly into an Apple commercial feels a bit off to me. This comes on the heels of another advertising controversy very recently. Just this month, it removed a billboard in Italy showing a toddler with an iPhone after a children’s-rights watchdog objected that it normalized “electronic babysitting.”
The ad as a whole is effective I think — but the devilish/satanic imagery could’ve been omitted, in my opinion. I don’t like it.
Here’s the ad in its entirety:
Now you know: Denmark farms 60% of its land, the 2nd-highest ratio on Earth after Bangladesh. Despite this, agriculture makes up less than 1% of its GDP.
