From routine crime shows to watching parts of the Lindsay Clancy trial, one thing that blazingly remains constant is that data is retrieved from phones. Text messages, searches, and even playlists are scrutinized to the umpteenth degree.
Just as that’s the case in almost every investigation, it was also true for Lindsay Clancy…
So that got me thinking about MY phone’s data and what it would reveal.
My text messages aren’t politically correct. My playlist has songs by Theory of a Deadman with lyrics about using illegal drugs (something I’ve NEVER done), and that claim sometimes “it makes me, wanna blow my f’ing head off.” (Also not something I’ve ever thought of doing.) Oh… and there’s a song on there entitled, “The Bitch Came Back” too. 😬
The number of times I do stretches for my back per day and every bite of food I’ve put into my mouth? Yup… covered. My bedtime, wake-up time, heart rate every moment for over 5 years would make for interesting observations.
Even though we think it’s all private because we have a password on our screen, it really isn’t as secret as we think it might be.
