one great thing about blogging

I know I’ve not been adhering to my typical posting schedule. Instead, I’ve been doing less of that and more of this…

I MIGHT be improving… at least a little.

I’ve been working pretty darned hard to get my back/hip/leg — whatever this is — back in shape. It seems to be working somewhat. Besides PT, I’ve been doing stretches 3 times a day or more, plus walking on the treadmill several times per day in short intervals.

I’m sure not claiming to be healed, but I’m starting to believe it might just be possible without surgery. And one of the reasons I believe it might work is because…

I was reminded I had this same challenge in 2023!!

Doing a search here using the words “Katie” and “surgery,” (trying to nail down a year that something totally unrelated happened), I found a post where I claimed Katie was my personal trainer. That post had a description of a similar experience — and I don’t even remember it!

One great thing about blogging is that you can go back and see exactly what you were thinking or doing in the past.

I may slow down posting at certain times, but I’m not planning to shut ‘er down any time soon. 🙂

Now you know: Sleep triggers a “wash cycle” in the brain. Studies show that during sleep, the space between brain cells widens over 60%, allowing cerebrospinal fluid to flush out waste like beta-amyloid. Because of this, pulling an all-nighter stops this waste from clearing, causing brain fog.
