As I watched the Apple event today live, I didn’t really compare that MAC experience to what you get with a PC. At the time, it didn’t even cross my mind. Don’t get me wrong, besides my MACs, I also run a PC desktop with Windows 7 and it’s extremely reliable — but tonight as I’m playing on this 27″ Quad-Core MAC beast, I get a notification that my copy of the new iLife 11 has already shipped, and simultaneously, I get a message that Windows has an update for me. The Windows update was nothing but garbage.
That’s the exact nanosecond it occurred to me why I’m a MAC.
If you’re a PC, when was the last time you set an alarm so you could watch a live event introducing something as freaking awesome as FaceTime?? Umm…never?
It’s like the Jetson’s y’all!
You can even make FaceTime calls over Wi-Fi on the new iPod touch for crying out loud. Did you hear that Windows?
