last night was the first frost of the season

A heavy frost hit the Ville last night — the first of the season. Fall is officially here and if you live in Indiana, you know what’s coming next.

You’ve heard it before I’m sure… that Indiana is known for cows, plows and sows. Not around here! We’re surrounded by soybeans! And cows. No sows.

The late-morning sky was so fabulous this morning. So very blue and filled with flat-bottomed, fluffy cumulus clouds. There’s a lot to be said about living in a peaceful, rural area — where as far as you can see are fields ready for harvest, undisturbed trees and beautiful clear skies. The only thing missing in this photo (and in the area) is a St Elmo Steakhouse.
