1. Don’t fall into shopping on Black Friday
It’s the day after Thanksgiving and you won’t find me at any mall, shopping center or Wal-mart. I refuse… no matter how much I might save. I learned my lesson a couple years ago when we thought it would be a great idea to hit the Edinburgh Outlet Mall. I-65 was backed up for miles and cars were actually parking on the exit ramp to walk there. Never. Again. If you’re shopping today, good luck with that. You have my sympathy. I’ll just hang out here, eat leftovers and share a couple of my favorite photos from yesterday:
2. Know the right size before you order items online
It’s a pain to return stuff that you purchase online if you live in a rural town that doesn’t have a UPS store. Getting the right size doesn’t just apply to clothes either. I seriously ordered the wrong size laptop case, you guys. What makes it so very sad is that I placed the order on that very laptop. Geeeez! Please be more careful than I was.
3. I’m a movie critic today
We watched ‘The Campaign‘ last night. I don’t always like movies that make me use my brain — I do that enough throughout the week and so I enjoy just watching junk sometimes. The Campaign filled the void and gave us a few out-loud laughs (even though I’m not a huge fan of Will Ferrell). It’s my opinion is this is a RENT not BUY movie. Once is enough.
