Bonzo and Sasha have this habit. It’s nasty as any habit I can think of. They INSIST that they eat no later than 6:30 AM. I’m used to big dogs with big voices, you guys. The shrill YIP YIP at the ass crack of dawn EVERY SINGLE MORNING is about to make me crazy. I’ve tried feeding them a snack late at night. I’ve tried everything short of earplugs just to be able to sleep late ONCE. Nothing works.
I’m pretty darned happy these kids’ dad (formerly my favorite brother) will be here in the morning when they wake. Picking him up at the airport tonight, I’m so looking forward to relinquishing the responsibility of puppy care. Now if I could just figure out a way to get the weather forecasted for next week to come early. It’s cold here, Internet!
