After Every Winter…

I’m not a fan of winter or the rain we’ve had of late — but what an awesome Tuesday! After every winter comes spring, and a near 70 degree temp in the burg had Perry and I in the yard snapping a few shots of its arrival. I don’t know about those of you playing along at home, but I’m impressed with Perry’s photo of the redbud tree blooming (especially knowing that his inheritance of my old Digital Rebel is the very first camera he’s ever owned!)

Pear trees were planted here around 10 years ago and are exceptionally beautiful when they bloom. These trees maintain a perfect shape no matter the size, and provide shade here in the side and back yards where their spots were carefully chosen. These blossoms look as good as about any flower and add to the much-missed smell of spring.

Libby has been requesting a trip outside more than usual too. Each time I find I’m over my head in work and concentrating, she starts the “I gotta go outside right NOW” prance. Come to find out, 50% of the time she only wants to sightsee. But who can blame her?
