I’m back on the ole’ carb diet after picking up few pounds over the winter. Meat. Eggs. Cheese. Oh, and tons of coffee with sugar-free vanilla creamer and Sweet N’ Low. I admit…I’m addicted to that bitter aftertaste.
So I’m thinking that a few salads and no fruit can’t be that great when it comes down to your vitamin intake. I figure I’ll supplement my diet with a vitamin every day. So, I look in the cabinet and the ONLY thing in there is One-a-Day Men’s Health Formula. Hmmm…should I take those?
I don’t want to grow hair in places where it shouldn’t be! I don’t care about having a healthy prostate! So I start reading through the ingredient list and I really don’t see anything that differentiates these vitamins from regular old daily ones. What the heck! Right?
I had myself talked right into being a healthy man when I noticed that the expiration date on this bottle is May 2007. Now it’s simply not worth the risk.

With everything going on, we got terribly behind insofar as posting daily photos on our sister site — OurDailyDigital.com. I pulled the photos together this afternoon and we’re now up-to-date. Wuwu! Check it out…

Have you ever read something and it stuck in your mind to the point that you had to go back and find it again? Such is the case of a post made by Chris Brogan.
I found Chris Brogan via an email sent to me of a review that appeared on his BLOG of my brother’s book. His review was in the form of a vodcast (video), and he went on and on about how he didn’t like the book’s cover, when in fact the cover had been revised weeks prior. His review was mediocre at best — he wasn’t driving his readers to spend their money to buy the book, that’s for sure. I watched the review with a smirk on my face, and immediately left his BLOG thinking he was a jerk who needed to comb his hair and learn some manners.
In the next few days, he and Scott exchanged emails, and he then again mentioned Scott in another post. Of course, I went back and read what he had to say. Scott seemed to respect him, so I subscribed to his BLOG and thought I’d at least give it a try for a few days. I have been reading his posts ever since, and to be honest, it’s now one of my favorites. The more I read, the better I feel like I know the guy. Hey…even the messy hair thing is growing on me. 😉
Now that those of you playing along at home know the history, I want to share a link to the post that has stuck in my head. It’s simply titled, “10 Things You Could Do Better Today.” His list is awesome, and I’ve gone back to it many times. But if those items don’t apply to you (many are business related), make your own list. C’mon – we all have 10 things we could do better today!

My Mom called from Florida to ask about the hair. Mike Hall from The Pines even threatened to send the paparazzi to track me down like a dog to get a photo! Don’t believe me? You can read the comments from my earlier post for proof.
So, I’ve caved in. Here ya go…don’t expect it to be this color the next time you see me.

It’s no secret that calls to other countries are expensive. It’s also not a secret that there’s a ton of different VoIP options out there. When a Korean organization requested a conference call using Skype, I admit I was a little skeptical. I worried that the video would be choppy, and that the voice would cut out. Not so. The quality was much better than I’ve ever had with AOL, MSN or iChat. If you simply use it to connect with other Skype users, it’s FREE. If you’ve not tried it yet, you should.
Now if I could just get it through my head that Korea is 14 hours ahead of us. That’s so hard for me to comprehend for some reason. A 9:00 am Monday conference call starts at 7:00 pm Sunday night EST.
