New challenges continue to surface without warning that are direct effects of the pandemic. They can especially be a pain when they are something you never even thought about. For example…
Dharma takes 2 pills every day to treat urethral sphincter hypotonus. (Basically she dribbles pee without it.) This is relatively common — but hugely annoying for the pet and owner — in female dogs after being spayed. These pills are NOT manufactured in the US, so guess what!
They are no longer available.
I got our vet’s last 2 bottles and there are no vendors that have them in stock. There are alternatives that we might have to try if there’s no quick resolution, but sheesh! Who would’ve thought my dog’s urinary output would be impacted by COVID-19??
I slept less than 2 hours on Monday night. Last night was different, you guys! A glass of wine and 2 Tylenol PM’s later and I slept like a rock for 8 glorious hours. I was feeling on top of the world until I had a staff meeting with my asshole favorite brother. 🙂
Not sure which one of us was the happiest with the other one…
TIL – (today I learned): In the movie, Pirates of the Caribbean (2003-2017), Jack Sparrow isn’t always drunk. The reason he walks the way he does is because he has ‘sea legs.’ He walks weirdly on land but perfectly normal on ships.
Or maybe, he had a glass of wine and 2 Tylenol PMs before shooting the footage on land. 🙂
