I was interested in the number of virus infected Hoosiers now compared to April 27th — 2 months ago. This ‘stay at home’ thing has been going on now for 112 days for me. Yes, I’ve been out a few times (like… less than 10 times total, you guys — counting doctor visits and dog stuff), but holy cow! It’s getting old.
So let’s take a look at the numbers…
No explanation needed, right? But the schools in my community are to reopen in August. If parents are uncomfortable sending their child, they can fill out a form and school them from home. Otherwise, they go.
While at school, masks are strongly recommended and other safety precautions will be in place. I don’t envy parents who NEED to work and don’t have a Nanny (Ben’s great-g’ma kept him while I worked), like I did.
When folks say, “COVID-19 is no worse than the flu,” I cringe. Three new symptoms were added to the list by CDC yesterday: runny nose, diarrhea, and vomiting.
It’s still scary. It’s still out there. And, I’m still home.
Neither of my puppies are feeling the best today – not sure if they have the Rona or what’s going on. Merida was feeling pretty good yesterday, though, and enjoyed a bit of sunshine in the grass. Today, strong storms are expected. Yippee!
