Today is National Love Your Pet Day. So many cute doggie photos shared on Facebook today — and I guess a couple cats weren’t too ugly. 😉 Of course, I shared a photo of Dharma and Merida on there too. The best comment was, “2 beautiful babes….1 slightly off her rocker!” I laughed out loud because it’s true.
The photo above is one I may just have to print. The one below is how they look right this second… and basically about 90% of the time:
Read a bit of good news today in the Wall Street Journal that has nothing to do with pets — “We’ll Have Herd Immunity by April.” It’s an opinion piece not behind their paywall, so the link should work.
In summary, it basically says that cases of COVID are down 77% over the past 6 weeks with only 15% of Americans having already received the vaccine. A bunch of data… blah blah blah… and we should have herd immunity by April. The author, Dr. Makary, is a professor at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Bloomberg School of Public Heath, and more accolades that I don’t have the energy to type.
As of March 11th, I will have been home for one full year. I haven’t stepped foot inside a grocery store; have eaten in a restaurant one time; and have had minimal contact with family and friends. Just like everyone else… I want normal life back. I try to stay upbeat, but I’m tired of this shit. I’m sure you are too. The only thing I have on everyone else is… I live with a superhero.
