Perry had a big 3-days off over a weekend and that NEVER happens. We decided to take advantage of the last day so we headed north for food…
We chose to eat at a relatively new Japanese restaurant in Columbus called E Sushi. To preface, I do not eat sushi. I’m ok with the taste but the texture is just really icky to me for some reason. I do like just about everything on the hibachi menu but a whole lot of the other stuff served scares me.
I’m a small town girl from Southern Indiana. When a raw egg comes with your meal so you can dip meat in it — I’m OUT. I want my food to look like something I can recognize. Give me COOKED cow, pig, poultry or fish. And that does NOT include some fish patty thing floating in broth with jelly noodles even if it has been cooked!
The meal I had was very good and I’d go back there again. Still, I’m just as happy (ok… so I’m really happier) with a smash burger on the Blackstone, home-grown tomatoes and steak fries.
TIL (Today I Learned): There’s a company called Eat Just that makes lab grown “real” meat chicken nuggets that doesn’t require chickens or antibiotics.
