call your lawyer

Sep 27, 2021

I watch enough crime shows to know that before talking to the police — no matter if you’re guilty or innocent — you should first CALL YOUR LAWYER. This morning, like other mornings before, there are blowhorn protestors outside the home of Brian Laundrie’s parents shouting for justice for Gabby. Of course, the parent’s lips are zipped because their lawyer has told them not to speak. At this point, nothing they could say would be acceptable anyway.

Obviously, they know something… maybe not where Brian is or anything about what happened to Gabby, but they at least know what they were told by Brian. Right? Law enforcement made the statement that the parents weren’t cooperating… they lit the fire. But it is within their rights NOT to talk — and it IS lawful to protest.

Not sure about the bullhorn though. Harassment? Disturbing the peace? As I type this, the high school marching band is practicing a couple blocks away and a cannon was being shot at 9:30 PM during the game on Friday night. I’m good with that (it reminds me that it’s fall), but non-stop action on my street?

I can’t imagine how I would cope with this shit show if I was a neighbor. Certainly some of them have dogs that are barking like crazy and children that are frightened. As a neighbor, I would’ve likely already been on video footage in my pj’s raising three kinds of Hell — especially when the bullhorn people start before 7AM.

People are tracking flights to see exactly what areas are being focused on. There are vigilante groups posting on social media they are after the (now) $30k reward for information leading to Brian’s arrest. John Walsh (America’s Most Wanted) and Dog the Bounty Hunter are in the mix both asking for tips.

who you gonna' call?

Dog’s Baby Lyssa has been on Twitter asking for experienced HIKING/SURVIVALISTS near the Appalachian Hiking trail in North Carolina — replies are letting Dog know groups are heading there to search.

Social media is awesome — and social media sucks.

Around here, we choose to believe in the Dog AND in calling your lawyer. Bring him in, Duane Chapman! 😉
