I thought my “snake day” was nothing more than a bad day fluke. But no. This morning I awoke to the candle on the kitchen table full of water overflowing and splattering onto the table top. Now the only way water could get there is if it was leaking out of the bottom of the chandelier.
Obviously, that windy storm grabbed a few shingles when passing through. I really didn’t even think about looking to see if there was any damage after the storm… I never just go outside and look at the roof. Because today is COLD for mid-April — and rainy — I don’t need to look any further than the kitchen to get the current forecast.
I need zen.
Since it’s cloudy and darker in the house than usual, I figured a little candle zen might help. So far I’m not feeling it, but I’m keeping my mind open.
TIL (Today I Learned): Squirrels have shut down the NASDAQ twice by chewing through power lines.
