I was out early yesterday… having coffee on the deck and making a list of what I needed to buy at Lowes. I look up and this beauty was in the front yard!
Maybe that doesn’t thrill you, but you guys… it’s such a welcome change from the Seymour house.
Nature can be a bit mean too.
Thinking I’d move one of my planters to the back deck, I lifted the pot of flowers that set on an empty pot in a tall container. A bird flew out! After recovering from the unexpected, I peeked inside and saw eggs. I put everything back hoping the Momma would come back. She never did. 😥
But it only gets worse!!
I was sitting outside on the new deck with Perry when Merida came strolling up to join us. We saw this hornet fly in from the other direction… out of nowhere. It flew straight to Merida’s butthole and stung her. 😬
She thinks we did it and will have NOTHING to do with either of us.
Today I Learned: The Canadian government will send you a flag that has been flown on top of the Parliament buildings. The current waiting list is over 100 years.
