Happy my birthday to Carl!
Carl got to celebrate my birthday too since I gave him my old Apple watch. This kind gesture will likely be a time sink for me — he is a bit digitally challenged. He should have a rotary phone and a Timex.
Here’s just one example that explains his digital life:
While pairing the watch to his phone, I saw he had a work address. Like… a work address with a driving time of around 2 hours. Carl has been retired for more than a few years and doesn’t know how that address got there. It was magic!
Perry is celebrating my birthday too!
Perry got himself a new Blackstone griddle for my birthday. 🙂 Bigger than the one he has currently (a whopping 36″), I think he’s planning on having lots of company for smash burgers this summer.
TIL (Today I Learned): The last convicted Salem “witch” was officially exonerated just last year. Elizabeth Johnson Jr. was “innocent” of practicing witchcraft as of July 2022.
