Yesterday it rained for the entire day. Even at noon, it was so dreary the outside lights around the top of the deck remained on. Everything solar powered didn’t have enough sun to even be dim.
Most of the trees are barely dressed and will likely be naked in another week. If that’s not bad enough, today we’re supposed to have a record low temp. ARG!
Roller Coasters usually go back uphill after they cross a hump.
COVID is a roller coaster, for sure. Mom thought she was on the downhill side until yesterday when she climbed back into the crud. Feeling worse again, she obviously still has a way to go. Carl’s primary complaint is the awful taste in his mouth caused by the Paxlovid. Other than that, he seems to be way ahead of the sickness game.
Computers moved… again…
Moving the computers and desks is a big ole’ job, but getting as much stuff out of the room that is about to get dye treatment on the floor is paramount.
Photos of floor dye project will be here tomorrow.
I’ll be sweeping, cleaning, and mopping the floors first thing. Once they’re dry, we’ll see how it goes. Wish me luck!
And finally… photos from the McKain reunion. I didn’t want to infect the entire clan so I didn’t go. Jerilyn was on a cruise and didn’t make it either — but a whole lot of them did. (Not pictured are the kids from the younger generation — and those who preferred not to be in a photo or arrived late.)
