Yes, I’m that old. I got a new vacuum cleaner and believe this or not — I got excited about it. Here I am… living the dream… with a new floor steamer AND sweeper. Don’t judge me. 😉
I swept the floor with my current Shark stick style, and then I swept it again with the new powerhouse as soon as it arrived.

I’ll admit I’m not a fan of carpet. There’s no carpet here but I don’t know how many square feet of Ruggable rugs I have. Those aren’t going anywhere since sweet Dharma has mobility issues. When I can get that much dog hair and dirt out from the same places I’ve already swept, it’s a good sign this Shark model is exactly what I wanted.
If you’re looking for a sweeper that has more suction than any other I’ve own previously (including Dyson), buy this one. I have to set the thing to low suction because it will pull those Ruggable rugs right off their Velcro-like pads if I don’t.
