Perry drives an hour to work. Of course, that means he has 2-hours of drive time added to his standard 10-hour day. He typically has Sundays off — like today. But when he suggests watching a movie or anything on TV, I already know what will happen…
I think maybe I need to make him sit in a kitchen chair or something not quite so comfortable. Even the girls can’t hold his attention once he’s stationary in front of a television. And when he snores, they watch him. They can’t believe those loud sounds come out of such a little body, I guess.
I passed on going to a wedding this weekend but did attend virtually! The bride was beautiful and her mom, my cousin, Sherry, looked great too. I don’t know how many were there, but I can tell you that I saw only one person in a mask besides the photographers. I know… I know… people will say I didn’t go out of fear. I’m not living life because I’m afraid.
And maybe I am… if so, I’m most afraid for others. And honestly, I don’t feel like I’m missing a thing. I would’ve felt obligated to go if not for COVID and was pretty happy to have a good excuse. 🙂
So how severe is COVID in the places I’ve followed over the past year?
Indiana – 11.1 (orange); Nevada – 9.2 (yellow); Florida – 20.9 (bright orange); and Jackson County, IN – 11.3 (orange).
Interesting to note that 20.1% of everyone in Jackson County has had a least their first vaccine. That’s below state average.
TIL (Today I Learned): Cats and dogs can be allergic to humans. At least that’s what National Geographic says…
