Weigh-in tomorrow and I sneaked a peak at the scale earlier in the week. What I saw was no movement at all of the poundage. GULP! Unless something miraculous happens by morning, I will have lost less in 3 weeks that Jeri did in her first week.
Next, I have two things happening for sure this week — a plumber and pest control. I’ve yet to get an appointment for the roof cricket crap, but I’d say it will be in the next few days. I’ll be glad when it’s all behind me.
Two things that are bugging me:
ONE: I have a fear that one little aspect of all these working parts will fail. Like… the buyer of my house will have problems in their closing. And like… the owners of the place I’m buying will change their mind or something will keep the sale from happening.
TWO: I worry that I’ll spend too much money “fixing” all the little things that make me crazy rather than enjoying a different lifestyle at a new home. Like… the trim on the windows in the kitchen and great room don’t match the trim around the flooring. ARG! Like… I not only want to widen the stairway, but I also want the steps to have more depth since I don’t possess dainty feet.
And, I’m already stressing if I want the master to be upstairs where there’s a master bath and walk-in closet when Dharma won’t be able to navigate the stairs — or just take the smaller bedroom downstairs.
So much storage!
I had to share this photo of only one of the garages. Why? Because Carl looks like he’s posing for GQ. 😆
